People doing business on the Tianhu Dam saw it and threw floating beds and hundreds of lifebuoys into the lake, and spontaneous rescue began quickly.
After the incident, the city leaders at home immediately rushed to the scene, set up the "10.2" accident rescue headquarters headed by Shen Yaozhi, secretary of the municipal party committee, organized professional teams and personnel to salvage and rescue at the Tianhu site, and quickly organized public security, health, power supply, civil affairs and other departments to put into rescue. The bridge-breaking accident in Tianhu caused a direct economic loss of 4.3 million yuan, and the folk village was abandoned from then on, and the hot spring tourism suffered serious setbacks.
