Due to its unique geographical location, Yuyue Town actively integrated into "Greater Hangzhou" and once became a sister town with Yunhe Town in Yuhang District. Yuyue Town is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River, with dense water networks and convenient water transportation. The Beijing-Hangzhou Canal runs through the town.
