The spreading story of Huangliangmeng Lvxian Temple

When former Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei visited China in 1972, he once proposed to Premier Zhou Enlai to visit Huangliangmeng, and to spend a huge sum of money to rebuild the Lv Xian Temple. It turned out that tanaka kakuei had served in the Japanese invasion of China when he was young, when his troops were stationed in the stronghold near Huangliangmeng. He once visited Lu Xian in the Temple of Immortal Immortal, praying that Lu Xian would keep him safe during his stay in China. At that time, the Taoist priest inside said that he was destined to be a prime minister, and he would be successful in official career after returning to China.

In p>194, tanaka kakuei was sent back to Japan for medical treatment due to serious illness, and retired as an injured soldier in 1941. Decades later, he actually became the Japanese Prime Minister and realized his dream of being an official. So I want to return to the dream of Huangliang to return my long-cherished wish. However, at that time, Lu Xian Temple was changed into a residential building, and Premier Zhou politely declined tanaka kakuei's request.

But in this house not far from Lv Xian Temple, the final ending of tanaka kakuei was painted on the wall. That's when he was formally arrested by the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office at the most beautiful moment, announcing that he was suspected of accepting bribes of * * * 5 million yen from Lockheed Company for four times during his tenure as Prime Minister from August 1973 to February 1974, and decided to arrest him on suspicion of violating foreign exchange laws and handcuffed him!

There is a poem beside this painting to prove it: When the Japanese invaded China, Makoto Tanaka knocked at the Lv Xian Temple. Ask what job you want in the future, and handcuffs appear on your plate. After 4 years, it was all fulfilled, and only then did we know that Lv Zu was really amazing. The story of Huang Liangmeng spread widely, even affecting overseas. Most tourists from Southeast Asia are familiar with this story. In Japanese schoolbooks for primary school students, there is a story of "Huangliang Dream". Japan has also put China's drama "The Story of Handan" on the Japanese stage. When foreign tourists mention Handan, they will say: This is the place where Huangliang dreams. Why is Huangliangmeng famous at home and abroad, and why is it also called Lv Xian Temple? This should start with a novel of the Tang Dynasty.

The Huangliangmeng Lvxian Temple was built on the basis of the story of Shen Jiji's novel A Story in the Pillow, which tells that in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty (subtitle: AD 719), after the Taoist Lu Weng became immortal, he became an elder and traveled around the world. One day, in an inn on Handan Road, he met a poor scholar, Lu Sheng, who rode a green colt to Beijing to catch the exam. Lu Sheng told Lu Weng about his unfortunate fate and repeated failure in the exam. Talking about drowsiness, Lu Weng took out a celadon pillow with holes in both ends from his bag and handed it to him, saying, "You should sleep first." Lu Sheng put a porcelain pillow on his pillow and soon fell asleep. He dreamed that he was admitted to the imperial examinations and was promoted again and again, but after several ups and downs, he was framed several times. Fortunately, the emperor rehabilitated his unjust imprisonment for him, and then he went out to become a duke of Yan, married a beautiful wife, and the whole family enjoyed prosperity and died at the age of 81 after a long illness. I dreamed that Lu Sheng suddenly woke up here and saw the shopkeeper cooking Huangliang rice. Lu Sheng was surprised, but Lu Weng said to him with a smile: "Isn't the way of life a dream?" Lu Sheng was enlightened, dropped his poems and went to learn from Lu Weng. In later works, people romanticized the plot, making Lv Dongbin take the place of Lu Weng and become the hero in the dream of Huang Liang.

Huangliangmeng Lvxian Temple is the only scenic spot in China with the theme of dream culture. It reflects the traditional thought of China's Confucianism and Taoism that "inaction is eternal and birth is the right way". Therefore, since the publication of A Story in the Pillow, this dream has been written and adapted again and again, including Nanke Ji in the Tang Dynasty, Nanke Taishou in the Song Dynasty, Huangliang Dream in Ma Zhiyuan's zaju in the Yuan Dynasty, Handan Ji in Linchuan Four Dreams by Tang Xianzu in the Ming Dynasty, and Continued Huangliang in Pu Songling's masterpiece Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio in the Qing Dynasty.

Yuan Haowen, a poet in the Jin Dynasty, said:

The Temple of Lu Sheng

When he died, he was born with no clothes,

He knew who was false and who was true,

Today, he wrote poems in Handan,

and he was still in a dream of Huangliang.
