According to public information, Qiu Xiaoxiong was born in September 1955 in Luchuan County, Guangxi Province. He worked as a steel factory worker in his hometown in his early years and was a cadre of the former industrial and commercial office in Yulin area.
1977 After the resumption of the college entrance examination, Qiu Xiaoxiong was admitted to the Department of Economics of Peking University (now the School of Economics of Peking University) and studied at Peking University from 1978 to 1982. At that time, his classmates included the current President of the People's Bank of China, the 13th member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the deputy director of the Economic Committee, the former deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the former vice president of Peking University.
1982 After graduating from Peking University, Qiu Xiaoxiong entered the Secretariat of the General Office of the Central Committee, and successively served as a cadre, deputy director and director of the Secretariat of the Central Office, a cadre at the level of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Leading Group, and a secretary of the Central Office and the State Council.
Since 2003, Qiu Xiaoxiong has served as director of Premier the State Council's office, deputy director of the Research Office of the State Council, member of the leading party group and director of Premier the State Council's office, and deputy secretary-general the State Council, member of the leading party group and director of Premier the State Council's office.

20 16 1 month, Qiu Xiaoxiong stepped down as deputy director of State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China, when he was 60 years old. After leaving office, Qiu Xiaoxiong attended public activities as the first vice president of China Taxation Institute. ?
Qiu Xiaoxiong died at 0: 35 on February 5th, 2020/KLOC-0. The farewell ceremony of his body will be held on the morning of1February 9.
