If the new medical insurance card has not been activated for use, the old medical insurance card can continue to be used. If the new medical insurance card has been activated and used, the old original medical insurance card will be invalid and cannot be used anymore. Moreover, the insured does not need to go through any formalities. Within two weeks, the funds on the old medical insurance card will be automatically transferred to the new social security card.
