The "Luban Award" is called the "Luban Award for Architectural Engineering". It was established by China Construction Industry Federation on 1987 and handed over to China Construction Industry Association on 1993. The main purpose is to encourage construction enterprises to strengthen management, improve project quality, strive for first-class projects, and promote the general improvement of project quality in China. At present, this project marks the highest honor for the quality of construction projects in China, and is awarded by the Ministry of Construction and China Construction Association.
