Coding rules:
(A) industry coding rules
Industry classification is based on the homogeneity of economic activities, not on establishment, accounting system or departmental management. The basic unit of dividing industries in the census is the industrial activity unit. If the name of the unit is inconsistent with the main product or business, the industry code shall be determined according to the reported main product or business.
Industry coding shall be carried out in accordance with National Economic Industry Classification (GB/T 4754—20 17). The national economy industry is divided into four levels: big category, big category, middle category and small category. The industry code of the seventh national census requires to be compiled into a three-digit code for the middle class.
(2) Occupational coding rules
Occupation is classified according to the similarity of the specific nature of the work I am engaged in. No matter what economic type the work unit is, whether the form of employment is permanent or temporary, and no matter what industry it belongs to, all people engaged in similar jobs belong to the same occupation.
Occupation coding shall be carried out in accordance with Occupation Classification Ceremony (version 20 15). Occupation is divided into four grades: big category, middle category, small category and fine category. The occupation code of the seventh national census needs a 5-digit code subcategory.
