Concept discrimination:

1. The central civil service examination, like the local examination, belongs to recruitment. Candidates fill in the corresponding positions for examination, and once they are admitted, they will become the staff of the position. 2. There are two kinds of local civil service examinations: qualification examination and recruitment examination. Those who pass the qualification examination will be awarded a civil servant qualification certificate, and candidates can apply for jobs in state organs such as cities, districts and counties, such as Beijing. Some need to take some exams in specific departments, and some need direct interviews.

3. Most local civil service examinations adopt the recruitment examination. Candidates choose positions to register for the exam, and after passing the exam, they are directly admitted as departmental civil servants, which is the same as the central civil service procedure.
