The national grant is to show the concern of the party and the government for students from poor families in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges. Colleges and universities carry out evaluation in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Administration of State Grants for Ordinary Undergraduate Colleges and Higher Vocational Schools promulgated by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and the specific evaluation methods formulated by our school, and complete the evaluation before 1 15 of that year. State grants are issued every year for 10 month, and colleges and universities should issue state grants to aided students on a monthly basis.

In the same academic year, students who apply for and receive state grants can apply for and receive state scholarships or state inspirational scholarships at the same time. Students majoring in normal education directly under the Ministry of Education who are trying out free education will no longer receive state grants at the same time.
