This year, more college students in our province will be able to apply for and enjoy the preferential policies of national student loans. After the Hebei Branch of China Development Bank confirmed the first batch of six colleges and universities to issue loans last year, the number of colleges and universities with loans will be expanded to 29 this year, and students applying for national student loans in these colleges and universities will receive loans from June 5438 to 10. The national student loan is issued after the school examines the qualifications of the lender. The annual loan amount for each student is 6,000 yuan, which is interest-free during the study period and begins to bear interest after graduation. The loan can be repaid two years after graduation and must be repaid within six years after graduation. Last year, only students from six pilot universities, namely Hebei University, Yanshan University, Hebei Normal University, Hebei Agricultural University, Hebei University of Economics and Business and Shijiazhuang Railway Institute, could apply for national student loans, with an increase of 23 this year. Up to now this year, 32 13 college students from 23 universities, including Hebei North University and Shijiazhuang Railway Vocational and Technical College, have applied for national student loans with a total loan amount of13,504,800 yuan. It is estimated that all college students will apply for a national student loan of more than 20 million yuan.
