At present, preparations are under way, and it is planned that construction should be started within this year, and it will be open to traffic around the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. According to Zong Zhenhua of Zhangjiakou Municipal Transportation Bureau, expressway from Beijing to Huashaoying starts at the junction of Beijing and Hebei, and passes through Huailai Civil Engineering and Zhuolu to Yangyuan Huashaoying, with a total length of128km. It is also the Beijing-Zhangjiakou freight passage of Beijing-Baotou Expressway. At present, Hebei section is temporarily named after Beijing-Huashaoying Expressway. The estimated investment of this section is 5.2 billion yuan, which will be completed by loans from the owners and commercial banks. In recent years, Beijing-Zhangjia-expressway is congested, with frequent traffic jams, which has a great impact on the local economy. Therefore, in 2004, Zhangjiakou Transportation Bureau set up the "Preparatory Group for the New Expansion Project of Beijing-Zhangjiakou-expressway" and began to study the new expansion project of Beijing-Zhangjiakou-expressway, namely the second Beijing-Zhangjiakou-expressway project.

Beijing section of Beijing freight corridor approved

In June this year, 65438+ 10/2, the project proposal of Beijing Sixth Ring Road to Deshengkou section of Jingbao Expressway was approved by Zhangjiakou Development and Reform Commission. This section of expressway will be connected with the proposed new national road 1 10, and * * * will form a freight passage to Beijing in the northwest direction of Beijing. It is reported that the section from expressway Sixth Ring Road to Baojing Deshengkou starts from Louzizhuang Village in Changping District and connects with the Sixth Ring Road (Xizhai Section). After crossing beijing-baotou railway, Jingmi diversion canal and Badaling expressway in the northeast, the line enters Xiaohuyu ditch and then digs a tunnel, ending at Deshengkou Village, Changping District. The new 1 10 national road (Deshengkou-West Wuliying) is under construction. The section is expected to start construction at the beginning of this year, with a construction period of about two years, and will be opened to traffic before the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. After opening to traffic, the Badaling Expressway is mainly passenger vehicles, and the newly-built 1 10 national highway and Beijing-Baotou Expressway are mainly freight vehicles, thus realizing the separation of passengers and goods. Huashaoying, located in Yangyuan County, Zhangjiakou, is an important node from Xuanhua, Hebei to expressway, Datong, and Zhangjiakou to expressway, Shijiazhuang. After the completion of the Jinghua Expressway, vehicles from east, west, north and south can enter the Jinghua Expressway through Huashaoying, and coal trucks from Datong and other places in Shanxi can also enter the Jinghua Expressway from Xuanda Expressway. Beijing will also build a road to connect with Jinghua Expressway, which will greatly relieve the freight pressure of Badaling Expressway and National Highway 1 10.
