Wuchang Institute of Technology, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is a full-time undergraduate college with multi-disciplinary development, which is approved by the Ministry of Education, and was selected as "Hubei Province 20 1 1 Plan". The school started from Hubei Institute of Industry and Trade founded by 1997.
During 1999, Hubei Institute of Industry and Trade cooperated with Wuhan University of Science and Technology to establish "Wuhan University of Science and Technology Higher Vocational and Technical College (Industry and Trade Campus)", which mainly implemented higher vocational and technical education.
