The lender may grant the borrower a certain grace period, and the longest grace period for foreign exchange student loans shall be two years, and the longest grace period shall not exceed the schooling years of the educated. During the grace period, only interest is paid, not principal. The borrower shall repay the loan principal and interest on schedule as agreed in the contract from the next month after the expiration of the grace period.
