Is it indirect to help kill animals by giving loans to pig farms? Is it a crime of killing animals?
I don't think it counts. Aquaculture is a necessity for human beings, or an exchange with nature. In other words, if killing is counted, then the rice and flour eaten by all beings are not life. People just take it for granted that active hearts, organs and breathing creatures similar to human beings are classified as life, while flowers and plants take it for granted that they are not life. Although they sometimes admit their own life, this kind of life is so rare that it is taken for granted in their mouths. Personally, I think killing people is a matter of course. Just like the so-called release, I took it for granted that I released it for good, so I bought a lot of animals such as fish and birds, which destroyed the ecology and changed the environment. I feel very comfortable and get the so-called good deeds, but I really don't care about the harm that others have done to society and nature. I don't think Buddhism advocates doing good for the sake of doing good As the saying goes, wine and meat leave a Buddha's heart. Who can tell right from wrong in the world? Just put your heart right and make yourself an upright person.
