Guo Yingjuan-Entrepreneurship changes destiny

Guo Yingjuan is from Shuangliu County. She was born in 1978 and is the eldest in her family. At that time, her family was a well-known poor household in the Sanliba community of Dongsheng Subdistrict Office. Her father was disabled in both hands and feet, her grandmother was old and sick, and she had a younger sister who was in school. The burden of life on the whole family was heavy. On the mother alone. My mother often sighed, wondering when the poverty in the family would be changed. But no matter how poor they are, their parents all have one wish, and that is to send Guo Yingjuan and her sister to school even though they are trying to sell it. They hope that Guo Yingjuan and her sister will change the face of the family. With this belief, the disabled father drags his sick body to help others pull coal, and the frail mother works from dawn to dusk to take care of the family's responsibilities. But day after day, year after year, the family is still struggling to have enough food and clothing. ?You will be poor soon if you have children, and you will be poor for a long time if you have no children. It is difficult for your two little girls to get rich! ?Some people in the village looked at Guo Yingjuan's family's troubles and laughed at them. Facing the ridiculing laughter of others, the young Guo Yingjuan determined at that time that she must impress those who looked down on girls in her life.

Searching for the road to wealth is hard work

In 1995, Guo Yingjuan graduated from the Accounting Vocational High School of Dongsheng No. 1 Middle School in Shuangliu County. When she was under 17 years old, she came to Chengdu Jiuyanqiao Labor Service without telling her parents. Find a job in the market. How can I find a job with no ID card and no education? Angrily, her father came from Shuangliu and took her home, hoping that she could continue her studies. Guo Yingjuan, who wanted to change her family's predicament, had no intention of going to school. When she heard that breeding could make money, she persuaded her parents to let her run a business at home for a year. As she said, Guo Yingjuan borrowed 200 yuan from her family as capital to raise chickens, and issued a military order: If she loses money, she will give up the idea of ??doing business immediately. The hard work paid off, with a profit of 2,000 yuan that year, and her parents were so happy that they couldn't hold it from ear to ear. Guo Yingjuan, who had achieved success for the first time, invested all her money and profits into a new round of breeding. Just when she was full of hope and ready to start a big project, a plague shattered her hopes. More than 100 chickens contracted dysentery, and all their investments were lost. This was not the solution, so Guo Yingjuan made up her mind to work part-time so that she could earn some money and accumulate some social experience. In 1996, she started her working career and changed jobs several times. Finally, she started as a waiter at the lowest level in a catering service company in Chengdu. She worked there for four years and worked her way up to the lobby manager. During this period, Guo Yingjuan increased her knowledge and even studied at a junior college by herself. At the same time, the family economy has been greatly improved.

Guidance on Entrepreneurship Training

In 1999, by chance, Guo Yingjuan participated in the "Entrepreneurship Training SIYB" training organized by the County Labor and Social Security Bureau at the Dongsheng Town Government. Listen to the class with a try attitude. The teacher analyzes the entrepreneurial mentality, entrepreneurial capital, entrepreneurial projects and entrepreneurial experience, and guides the students to find the best combination of individuals and projects. At the same time, they analyzed and evaluated entrepreneurial projects, explained the general procedures of marketing, taxation knowledge, financial knowledge, business administration and the country's preferential entrepreneurial policies, and simulated the actual entrepreneurial process to guide them in making entrepreneurial plans. The Labor and Social Security Bureau also provides follow-up support services, providing consultation and services on issues such as opening registration, paying social insurance, adjusting marketing strategies, and applying for loans during the actual entrepreneurial process. With the teacher's in-depth explanations and illustrated demonstrations, Guo Yingjuan's entrepreneurial dream was rekindled.

During the training, Guo Yingjuan saw many successful examples. She changed her mind and came up with the idea of ????no longer working part-time and becoming a small boss. But at that time, she had no capital, no professional skills, no personnel, and it didn’t matter. Later, she heard from a friend that the knot-guaranteed industry that was just emerging in Chengdu had a future. In order to understand this industry, she went to work in Chengdu, working with cleaners, cleaning windows, listening to employees describe the boss's management system, and paying attention to the management details of this industry.

After studying for more than half a year, she decided to return to her hometown to start a business. In September 2001, she officially established "Xiaoyue Cleaning" named after her daughter in Shuangliu County, starting with two housekeeping cleaners. At the beginning of its establishment, due to lack of understanding of the market, Guo Yingjuan lost more than 20,000 yuan after six months. People around her persuaded her to give up, but she was unwilling to give up and re-summarized her experience and lessons. By 2003, the cleaning company was finally on track.

?Success is accompanied by failure, and tears are accompanied by sweat. For Guo Yingjuan, 2003 was an important milestone on the road to entrepreneurship. That year, Shuangliu County vigorously carried out the work of dismantling protective barriers and cleaning exterior walls. With this one project, Guo Yingjuan made her first pot of gold after starting her business, completed the initial accumulation of capital, and had more than 50 employees. The number of customers has also increased to more than 500.

Change minds and teach people to fish

Before the joy of success could be shared, an unprecedented SARS epidemic wiped out the newly cultivated market. In addition, cleaning work is not very technical and can be easily copied. Some employees have begun to make private appointments with clients and break away from the company to work alone. As a result, skilled employees have been lost, and many customers have also been lost. If countermeasures are not considered in time, the company will undoubtedly become a free cleaning technology training center. Guo Yingjuan is in a bad mood and her business has plummeted. What is the problem? Is the business that I have worked so hard for several years come to an end?

When she was hesitant, the leaders of the County Labor and Social Security Bureau cared for and enlightened her, and supported her to study relevant management courses in Chengdu. Finally, she finally understood the benefits of personnel mobility for enterprise development. Sooner or later, you have to leave. Everyone has a mentality of success and a desire to make progress. The old employees have left and new employees have come, which has brought great vitality to the company. These rural women who can get rid of pots and pans and play mahjong to work as cleaners are also very good people. Her business can become the foundation for their progress and success, and it is also a contribution to society. Although her income has decreased and she has received more training, she feels more at ease. Because of this, more sisters will be able to leave their families and become independent, and she has finally gotten rid of her misunderstandings.

Inspirational illumination of life

After these years of hard work, the company has established its leading position in the cleaning industry in Shuangliu County, and the company has also provided services to the remaining rural laborers in Shuangliu County. Transfers made their contribution. Guo Yingjuan is a well-known strong woman. In 2007, she was recommended as a candidate for community village director, and was nominated by Dongsheng Town as an advanced model of entrepreneurship in the county. In early January 2008, she was hired by the Dongsheng Town Sub-district Office as the director of Dongsheng Welfare Institute; in 2008 She is an "Outstanding Entrepreneurship Star" at the Chengdu Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion Conference in China.

When talking about her entrepreneurial journey in the past nine years, Guo Yingjuan said: "I am a little girl who grew up relying on my father's coal supply. I want to contribute more to the society through my own success and experience." Rural women find a path to self-development. ?;
