The relevant person in charge of Guangzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China said that the bank has completed the pilot of cross-border RMB loan business, allowing qualified enterprises in Guangdong Province to borrow RMB loans from financial institutions in Hong Kong and Macao to support the construction of key projects and the production and operation of enterprises in Guangdong Free Trade Zone. By the end of March, 2065438+2008, 58 enterprises in Nansha, Guangzhou and Hengqin New District, Zhuhai had handled cross-border RMB loans, and the amount of loans remitted was 6.044 billion yuan.

The Bank strongly supports enterprise groups in the Free Trade Zone to carry out cross-border two-way RMB fund pool business and improve the efficiency of enterprise capital use.
