Is there any restriction on remittance from South Korea to China in 2022?
There are restrictions.

1. The card for remittance from Korea to Bank of China is ok, but since the card of Bank of China is RMB and the remittance is Euro or USD, the payee needs to go to the bank to go through the settlement formalities with his identity document, and only need to fill out a settlement form to convert it into RMB.

2. Of course, you can also remit it to any other bank's RMB account or debit card, as above.

To open a foreign exchange account, you need to take your ID card to the bank. If you need to use it for remittance, please tell the staff that you need to open a remittance account instead of a banknote account. A foreign exchange account is a passbook, and generally there is no card.

If you open a US dollar account, you can come directly from Korean won. After the bank receives it, it can directly input it in the original currency. If you need to change it into RMB, you can always bring your ID card and passbook to the bank.

If you need to exchange RMB, don't withdraw cash, because the exchange rate of cash and remittance is different. Remittances are converted according to the spot purchase price, which is higher than the spot purchase price and higher than the black market price. Just tell the teller to exchange RMB and fill out a settlement slip.

6. It usually takes 3-7 days to send money from South Korea to China.
