The investment consultants and financial consultants I have met are actually business people, just to give customers a good look, hence the name. Of course, some large companies and banks still have a high level of financial consultants.
If you are a business person, you don't need to know too much knowledge. The company will conduct relevant training before joining the company, and will give you relevant information to familiarize you, because investment and financial management are relatively broad, depending on the nature of your company, such as funds, foreign exchange, private placement, insurance, etc. You need different financial knowledge, and you have a basic understanding of the basic concepts of finance. Know the information in the financial section of the newspaper every day and explain it clearly. Basically, they are all professional words, but they can't be found in the specific practical application books. They are all learned slowly at work.
If you are a professional financial consultant, you are basically majoring in finance or investment, so you need more knowledge. You have to dabble in financial principles, investment, securities investment, foreign exchange, insurance, financial risks, and quantitative economy, because real financial consultants are made up of multiple products, and you must know all product fields very well.
