What kind of enterprise is suitable for third-party cross-border payment business?
Enterprises with foreign trade business are suitable for third-party cross-border payment business. The cross-border payment market in China is dominated by four types of payment methods, and the four mainstream payment methods are converging. At present, there are four mainstream payment methods for cross-border payment, among which bank wire transfer is suitable for large transactions, professional remittance companies are suitable for medium transactions, and international credit cards and third-party cross-border payment are suitable for small transactions. Compared with using international credit cards for transactions, third-party cross-border payment charges are lower, but capital risks are higher. Although there are obvious differences and complementarities among the four mainstream models, they have shown a trend of integration in recent years. Take Visa as an example. Visa originally belongs to the international credit card payment method, which is mainly used for small cross-border payment scenarios at the C end. However, since June 20 19, Visa began to promote a new cross-border payment platform-Visa B2B Connect, which is mainly used in the payment scenario of B-end customers of cross-border e-commerce, making up for the disadvantages that VISA was originally only suitable for small transactions at C-end, and can replace traditional bank wire transfers and professional remittance companies, further blurring the boundaries between different payment methods. Third-party cross-border payment mainly occurs in Asia, where the front-end payment tools are localized and the seller's collection software is diversified. According to trading places, Asia is the main place for third-party cross-border payment transactions in the world. According to different trading regions and trading platforms, users tend to use different front-end payment software. For example, Asian consumers are more accustomed to using WeChat and Alipay, while European and American countries prefer to use Visa/ MasterCard.
