Fund preparation
1, Finnish study abroad bank card processing
In fact, UnionPay cards can be used in many countries now. Of course, you can also apply for a dual-currency credit card from China Bank. You can go to China Bank for consultation.
With your passport, you can go to the local bank in China to handle traveler's checks or bank drafts in US dollars or European members.
The procedure for handling traveler's checks is relatively simple. With your passport and ID card, you can handle it in China Bank, and you only need to pay the difference between buying and selling foreign exchange and a part of the handling fee.
Bank draft is handled in China Bank with passport and ID card, that is, the payee is your bank draft (both the remitter and the payee can be yourself). If the bank limits the daily remittance amount of a single person, you can bring more ID cards and remit them to you in the name of multiple people.
Traveler's checks are more convenient. When you arrive in Finland, you can withdraw money by depositing it in the bank. As for the bank draft, after you arrive in Finland, you need to open an account with the Finnish bank and deposit the draft. Because the Bank of China has no branch in Finland, it will take about a week to get the bill.
2. Open a bank account
Use your social security number and passport to open an account in a bank. You can open dollars and other currencies. Finland uses the euro. You will get an ATM card. Transfer China bank draft or cheque to your account.
In places where there are many foreign students, the bank staff will be very skilled in completing all the procedures, so it is recommended to open an account in a bank in the city center. Recommend NORDEA bank, SAMPO is also good. At the same time, you can apply for online banking agreement and |VISA Electronic | (a substitute for Visa card).
I suggest you get one, because Nuodiya's new withdrawal card has no IC chip and can't be used in the laundry room of the student apartment. There is no account opening fee and no deposit.
certification of deposit
Foreign students accepted by Finnish universities must show proof that they can pay all the expenses needed for living and studying in Finland. Residents of Finland and other countries can be economic guarantors. The form of proof of economic guarantee shall be the certificate issued by the bank that the applicant has opened an account and has a deposit amount. The guarantor must deposit $6,500 a year in a bank in Finland in the name of the applicant (that is, in the name of the applicant), and then the bank will issue a certificate of the applicant's account opening and deposit amount.
The applicant must have a bank draft with a minimum amount of US$ 7,000, or a deposit certificate in a Finnish bank, and the third-country economic guarantee is invalid.
Finnish students can work 20 hours a week, but it is difficult to find a job, mainly because of language problems. If you apply to study in some small cities, there will be fewer job opportunities. Employers attach great importance to academic performance, and they should study hard at work first.
Study abroad loan
In addition to the general loan methods, Bank of Communications, China Everbright Bank, etc. It also launched a special loan business for studying abroad.
At present, the loans provided by banks include credit loans, consumer loans, pledge loans, etc. Some banks have also launched study abroad loans specifically for families of international students. Families of foreign students can choose the loan method according to their own situation, and after successfully applying for a loan, they can also obtain the corresponding credit certificate.
