5. Use Debit card to withdraw money from ATMs (with Visa or Mastercard logo) of Bank of China, Bank of Communications, ICBC and other banks.

The handling fee of Bank of China is 3%, and the handling fee of other banks needs to be verified. All online banks do not charge fees for using other banks' ATMs, but other banks may charge fees. Some online banks, such as FirstIB and Netbank, will rebate ATM fees (up to $6 per month), which means you can use other banks' ATMs for free.

6. Deposit money directly to ICBC’s international loan and mail card. I just called and said yes, but no clear answer yet.

And it is said that there is an agent bank here.

7. Use credit cards from MBNA, Wachovia and Fleet.

For credit card purchases outside the United States, the VISA/Mastercard network charges 1%, which is inevitable. On this basis, foreign exchange transaction fees are generally charged, but MBNA, Capital One, Wachovia and Fleet do not charge them.

The current actual exchange rate for using MBNA credit card in China is approximately 8.17RMB/$, which is slightly lower than the cash purchase price of 8.21. Many MBNA credit cards have a 1% rebate.

8. Use travellers’ checks

This method is suitable for travelers themselves. Buying travellers' checks at the bank where the account is opened may be free. AAA members can purchase for free at AAA. There is a 0.75% handling fee for cashing travellers' checks at banks in China.
