If your store supports RMB payment, you can pay RMB directly.

If your shop doesn't support RMB payment, you can only pay with local banknotes.

Foreign exchange processing method:

Customers can apply at the bank with their valid identity documents, fill in relevant documents and pay cash. Valid identification documents include: my ID card (China citizen, household registration book (/kloc-China citizen under 0/6), military ID card (China People's Liberation Army), Armed Police ID card (China People's Armed Police), Mainland Pass for Hong Kong and Macao residents (Hong Kong and Macao residents), Mainland Pass for Taiwan Province residents (Taiwan Province residents) and passport (foreign citizens or China citizens with passports).
