1 mbar = 100 Pa; 0.1 mbar = 10 Pa
1 MPa (megapascals) = 1,000 KPa (kilopascals) = 1,000,000 Pa
In physics, the unit of pressure is expressed in bar: one bar of force per square centimeter of area. A force of one dynes per square centimeter of area is called a bar. In meteorology, this unit is too small, take 1,000,000 dyne/cm2 as 1 bar, and take one thousandth of a bar as the unit of air pressure, which is called 1 millibar. One millibar is one thousandth of a bar, which is equal to a pressure of 0.76 millimeters of mercury. It is now renamed "hectopascal".
Expanded Information
Commonly used megapascals (MPa), kilopascals (kPa), the legal unit of pressure is the pascal (Pa): 1Pa = 1N / m2 (Newtons / square meters). The customary non-statutory units are also bar (bar), engineering atmospheric pressure (at), pounds per square inch (psi), millimeters of mercury (mmHg), millimeters of water column (mmH20) and so on. In China, we generally describe the pressure of gases in "kilograms".
PSI English full called Pounds per square inch. P is pound pound, S is square square, I is inch inch. all units into metric units can be calculated:
1bar ≈ 14.5psi
1psi = 6.895kPa = 0.06895 bar
Unit conversion relationship: 1.Pa (Pascal), Kpa (kilopascal), Mpa (megapascal), atm (standard atmospheric pressure)
Conversion relationship:
1Pa=1 N/M^2 (Newtons per square meter)
1atm=101325 Pa≈100 KPa or 101KPa or 0.1 MPa
1KPa=1000Pa
1MPa=1000KPa=1,000,000Pa
