Main Tasks

The Institute is committed to serving the development of China's port and shipping industry, port cities and port enterprises, shipping companies and related enterprises, and advocates rigor, pragmatism and truth-seeking, encouraging free speech, academic debate, and strengthening exchanges between China and foreign countries.

China Port and Shipping Research Institute wholeheartedly welcomes experts in port and shipping industry and people from all walks of life who are interested in the development of China's port and shipping industry to join the Institute and contribute to the promotion of scientific, harmonious and sustainable development of China's port and shipping industry.

Business Scope

(1) to provide consulting services for the state, local governments and port and shipping management departments at all levels of the department to formulate port and shipping development strategies, policies, etc.; for the development of ports and shipping enterprises to provide consulting and information services; Southeast Asia's port industry and the shipping industry to provide professional consulting services;?

(ii) organize academic research and carry out domestic and international academic exchange activities;?

(iii) organizing research on special topics in port and shipping;

(iv) organizing high-level international port and shipping seminars.
