Overseas Chinese University of computer science was founded in 1980, is one of the earliest in Fujian Province, founded in 1982 Department of Computer Science, established in 2008, the School of Computer Science and Technology. 1994, the first master's degree authorization of computer application technology in Fujian Province, the same year was identified as the State Council Overseas Chinese Office of the focus of the disciplines. The college has four undergraduate programs: "Computer Science and Technology", "Software Engineering", "Network Engineering" and "Digital Media Technology". "There are four undergraduate majors in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering and Digital Media Technology, two master's degree programs in Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering, as well as one master's degree program in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems and one master's degree program in Computer Technology. The two first-level disciplines of Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering are both recognized as key disciplines in Fujian Province. After nearly thirty years of construction and development, it has formed four stable discipline directions, including computer vision and pattern recognition, intelligent data management and application, software engineering and computer integrated manufacturing system, network and multimedia technology.
