Step 1: Right-click Computer and select Manage > Disk Management.
The purpose of selecting Disk Management is to check which disk of our computer has sufficient partitions, so that we can allocate the memory in the disk with relatively large free space to the C drive.
Step 2: Install the Partition Assistant software
You can download the Partition Assistant online by yourself. The latest version is currently version 2.5. After downloading, installation only requires one step: it must be installed to the C drive.
Step 3: Open the Partition Assistant? Extend Partition Wizard
After entering the Partition Assistant, you will find many functions on the left side of the software. If you want to learn more about it, try it yourself. Well, here we only introduce extending the C drive partition.
Step 4: Extend the C drive partition
After clicking the Extend Partition Wizard above, a dialog box will pop up. Select the first one as the system extended partition.
Step 5: Select the drive letter
It is best to choose the D drive to extend the partition of the C drive. If you choose other drives, it will take a long time. The space movement is Moving from one disk to an adjacent disk, if the C disk and D disk are together with multiple partitions, it will be done quickly, but if it is other disks, it will take a long time.
Step 6: Set the size after partitioning
What you must pay attention to here is that the size you enter is the total size, not the size you want to divide.
