The effect of the Phantom trait is that the last elf on the team will look like the last elf on the team (including appearance, name, and gender, but the skills, effort value, ability value, personality, and real gender and name will not be changed), and if Zoroark is the last elf on the team, the trait won't be activated, and the character will be changed back to its original state when it is attacked and inflicted with damages. So you can use this feature to trick your opponent into using a skill that doesn't work well against you, and then take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen, attack, or use Dragonfly Dash to "make a buck".
