Hunan College of Finance and Economics is located in Changsha, Hunan Province, sponsored by the Hunan Provincial People's Government full-time undergraduate colleges and universities, is the "national standard of big data excellent pilot unit", the Ministry of Education "education e-government pilot project unit".

As of June 2021, the college covers a total area of 760.35 acres, with a library collection of more than 1,650,000 books and 540,000 e-books; it has 14 secondary institutes*** and 41 undergraduate majors; there are 943 faculty and staff members, and 16,218 students enrolled in the college.
