Chuzhou City Vocational College was founded in 1908, when the name of the Fengyang government teacher training school, the early Republic of China for the provincial fifth teacher training, the People's Government of Anhui Province was established in 2010, and by the Ministry of Education for the record of the state-owned public full-time ordinary schools of higher learning.

The predecessor of the college is the Fengyang Normal School with a history of 100 years of schooling, and in 2010, the national key secondary school Chuzhou Health School was merged into the college.In September 2016, the Fengyang Campus and the Health School Campus were relocated as a whole to the new campus in the Science and Education Park at the foot of Luangya Mountain in Chuzhou, and a brand-new chapter in the development of the college was unveiled.

Academic construction:

There are 195 active faculty and staff, with a wealth of teaching, scientific research and medical talent. Among them, there are 50 senior titles, 65 intermediate titles, 11 master's degree holders among the faculty and 33 graduate students.

The Department of Health has identified seven "key teachers of the trans-century training objects". The school magazine "Medical Education Forum" is published regularly. In recent years, the school staff in various magazines, newspapers, academic conferences published and exchanged more than 100 papers each year.
