General director Yu Lei, winner of the title of National 38 Red Flag Woman and the National May 1st Labor Medal, deputy director of the Program Department of the Variety Channel of the CCTV's Literary and Arts Programming Center, has served as the chief literary writer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and the chief literary writer of the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit Literary and Artistic Performance, "The Most Memorable Thing is Hangzhou". In recent years, he has served as chief writer, overall designer, and deputy director of the Spring Festival Gala for several times.

Deputy director Zou Wei, deputy director of the CCTV Arts and Culture Programming Center's Large-scale Events Center, has won the Starlight Award and the Magnolia Award for television arts and culture many times. Zhao Dazhi, director of the Song and Dance Group, has won the "Starlight Award" for his TV programs. Hao Jing, the director of the technical group, was the chief writer of the military parade and fireworks display to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, as well as the awarding night of the "Five One Project".

Language group directors Zhao Yue and Song Fei have six years of experience in directing language programs for the Spring Festival Gala, and another director in the language group, Dong Xiaofeng, is in charge of the "Spring Festival Comedy Night" program on the Variety Channel. Opera director Wei Daosheng has been responsible for the creation of the Spring Festival Gala's opera program for 7 consecutive years. The design of the mascot, "Rabbit Yuanyuan," was polished and completed by the chief designer, Chen Xiangbo, director of the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, and the Spring Festival Gala's visual design team over a four-month period. The overall image is based on the basic characteristics of the Chinese white rabbit, incorporating the aesthetic style of traditional Chinese brushwork, and is completed using 3D three-dimensional modeling technology. The upright ears, slightly raised head, and uplifted chest all show the spirit of upward mobility.

"Rabbit Round" not only integrates the preferences and expectations of the whole Internet audience from big data research, but also embraces the meaning and beauty of the rabbit in traditional culture, and creatively presents the scientific achievements of Chinese scientists. The iconic four incisors of the "Rabbit Yuanyuan" are taken from the typical features of the fossilized ecological restoration image of the "Anhui Mouse and Rabbit". The mascot of the Spring Festival Gala, "Rabbit Yuanyuan", is not only the traditional cultural significance of the Chinese zodiac rabbit, but also the "ancestor" of the Chinese white rabbit, which condenses the spirit of Chinese scientists' quest.
