Liuzhou City Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational school sponsored by the People's Government of Liuzhou City. The school was established in February 2006, formerly known as Liuzhou Normal School (founded in 1940).In May 2007, Liuzhou Radio and Television University, Liuzhou No. 3 Vocational and Technical School and Liuzhou Industrial and Trade Vocational and Technical School were merged into the school as a whole.

The school is located in Liuzhou Guantang Vocational Education Park, the campus covers an area of 1003 acres, with full-time higher vocational education as the dominant, centralized vocational education, academic education, adult education, distance education, international student education and skills training in one.

Relying on the advantages of Liuzhou automobile industry, the school has cooperated y with SAIC-GM-Wuling to set up a branch of Liuzhou City Vocational College in Indonesia, which is the first vocational college in Guangxi to set up a branch outside the country.
