Promoting RCEP China-Malaysia Trade Cooperation Seminar
On March 8, 2021 China's Minister of Commerce announced in an interview at the two sessions that China has formally approved the RCEP and hoped that member countries will speed up its advancement. Against this backdrop, a seminar on China-Malaysia trade cooperation was held online at 10:30am on March 11th, which was of particular significance. The seminar was attended by Dato' Dr. Hassan, President of the Federation of Malaysian Malay Business Associations (MPM), Chairman of the Belt and Road Alliance of Southeast Asian Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Mr. He Jianwei, Secretary General Mr. Li Yue and his team from Kuala Lumpur headquarters and China, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sichuan Foreign Integration Cloud Service Technology Company Limited Mr. Wang Xiaojun and his team, and the Founder of Beijing Magnetic Digital Technology Company Limited Mr. Li University, and so on. The meeting was chaired by Li Yue, Secretary General of the Belt and Road Alliance of Southeast Asian Non-Governmental Organizations.

Chairman He Jianwei firstly introduced the resources of the Belt and Road Alliance of Southeast Asian Non-Governmental Organizations (BRAC) and the future layout of the Alliance in Malaysia, ASEAN and China. The Alliance will be committed to providing a platform of services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Southeast Asian countries and China, including cross-border trade, culture and tourism, innovation in health care and medical technology, Belt and Road ports and logistic parks, halal authentication, financial and legal services, etc., providing turn-key services. It will provide turnkey cross-border trade services and investment consulting.

Mr. Wang Xiaojun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sichuan Foreign Integration Cloud Service Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the economic situation, import and export trade situation and policy environment of Sichuan Province, and introduced in detail the Foreign Integration Cloud Service Platform that is being built by the company, which is centered on the modes of "trade+finance", "customs clearance+logistics", and is dedicated to the development of "trade+finance" and "customs clearance+logistics". Mr. Wang hopes to provide services for cross-border trade between SMEs of Sichuan and Malaysia, China and ASEAN, as well as in-depth cooperation in international logistics, warehousing and finance, etc. in the construction of digital platform! Cooperation can be easy before difficult, focusing on implementation, in the context of RCEP and Belt and Road, to seize the historic opportunity to contribute to the economic development of China and Malaysia and even ASEAN.

Malaysia Malay Merchants Association (MPM) President Dato' Dr. Hassan proposed at the meeting that the Halal Industry Certification Center will set up a branch in China, the future of the halal industry not only face China and Southeast Asia, but the entire RCEP countries, and expect to set up a financial services institutions in China, for the import and export of halal enterprises to carry out financial services, MPM has more than 20 kinds of financial products to provide to China, in order to provide financial services to China, so as to promote the development of the halal industry in Malaysia and ASEAN.
