.Definition of Tomb Raiding: Tomb Raiding refers to the behavior of an individual or a group of individuals to enter a mausoleum that does not belong to their own property in an illegal way and take out the objects therein for their own use. Its occurrence is usually accompanied by irreversible damage to the tomb. Archaeology, which is similar to grave robbing in terms of behavior, is generally a large-scale official organization that enters ancient tombs to take out the objects therein and do archaeological analysis. The fundamental difference between archaeology and grave robbing is that grave robbing is done for the sake of personal illegal interests and will cause great damage to cultural relics. On the other hand, archaeology is for the benefit of the society, and the objects taken out are usually stored in museums for visits or in national archives for research, restoration and protection. It is quite ignorant to consider grave-robbing and archaeology as equivalent.
Neolithic archaeological data can already be seen in the remains of the phenomenon of conscious burial destruction. After the social changes of the Spring and Autumn period, when "rites and music were in ruins", there was a trend of generous burials, and tomb raiding became more prevalent. The Qin Gong No. 1 Tomb in Fengxiang, Shaanxi Province, is the largest tomb of the Pre-Qin Period ever discovered, and also the largest tomb excavated by applying scientific archaeological methods in China. In this tomb, 247 robber holes have been found, including 10 holes directly into the outer coffin
