Kaifeng University has majors in Modern Logistics Management, Industrial Robotics Technology, Big Data and Accounting, Electrical Automation Technology, Electronic Information Engineering Technology, Internet of Things Applied Technology, Financial Science and Technology Application, Environmental Art Design, Visual Communication Design, and Applied Chemical Technology.

Kaifeng University, located in Kaifeng, a famous historical and cultural city in China and the ancient capital of the Eight Dynasties, was founded in 1980 and is a full-time general institution of higher learning covering six major disciplines, namely, engineering, management, literature, economics, medicine, and arts, approved by the People's Government of Henan Province, filed with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the People's Government of Kaifeng City.

The school covers an area of 1753 acres, with a total building area of about 432,900 square meters, teaching, research and administrative buildings of about 256,000 square meters; teaching and research instruments and equipment worth 166,212,600 yuan; the library covers an area of 28,000 square meters, with a collection of 1,480,700 paper books and 25,377 electronic professional journals.
