When Gong Sui arrived at the county government alone, the county was in a peaceful atmosphere, and the thieves were all restrained. There were many robbers in Bohai County, but when they heard Gong Sui's admonition and order, they immediately broke up and threw away their weapons, bows and arrows, and took up hoes and sickles, so the robbers were all pacified, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment. Gong Sui then opened the local granaries to provide relief to the poor and needy, and chose good local officials to pacify and nurture the people.
