TRS was formerly known as Beijing EPRO Beixin Information Technology Co., Ltd. which was founded in Zhongguancun in 1993 as a joint venture between Beijing University of Information Science and Technology (former Beijing Institute of Information Engineering) and Hong Kong EPRO, and was renamed as Beijing Tops Information Technology Co.
