In my eyes, Chinese characters are not rigid symbols. I believe that every Chinese character has a story, is a picture, and has a history. To learn Chinese characters is to approach the long history of the Chinese people, to touch the pulse that beat more than 2,000 years ago.
And I think that Chinese characters should not be abandoned by the world, because some people think that: nowadays society has entered into technology, as long as we use computers, no matter what words we want, we can type them out, and we don't need to use Chinese characters, so we don't need to spend a lot of effort to learn Chinese characters, and Chinese characters are already backward. In my opinion, Chinese characters are priceless treasures that have been handed down from ancient times to the present day, and they are the unique calligraphic treasures of the Chinese nation. Abandoning Chinese characters is tantamount to snuffing out the more than 2,000 years of historical life that Chinese characters possess.
Through the Chinese characters, all of us, our children and grandchildren, know the thousand years of the Chinese land and understand the profound connotation of the Oriental dragon. Here I would like to say to all of you: "We have to love the Chinese characters, so that they can continue to be handed down, and not to be lost. Therefore, we have to study hard to make Chinese characters set a better record!"
