Conditions include various so-called star hotels, apartment-style family hotels, budget hotels, youth hostels, sanatoriums, resorts, etc., which are distributed in vast new and old urban areas and coastal tourist resorts. Among them, there are an extremely large number of fishermen's houses with varying accommodation conditions. They are mainly distributed in coastal fishing villages more than ten kilometers away.
Regarding the price of accommodation, the characteristics of Rizhao are that it depends on the time and place, and the off-peak and peak seasons are obvious. The price is also obviously different along the coast and not along the coast. Tourists who organize groups through travel agencies have no choice. They can only protect their rights and interests as much as possible when signing a contract with the travel agency. Self-guided tourists can make their own choices, and it’s up to them to be rich and frugal. Whether it's fun or not, how you live, the hardware is the foundation, the most important thing is your own mentality!

(1) Peak season (i.e. Golden Week, July and August): It mainly depends on the region, coastal areas (Bihai Road and the first line) , east of Shanhaitian Road), the average price of a double room or double room is about 200 yuan/room. Taking into account this year's price level, it is estimated that during the summer, especially on weekends, it will be difficult to find a room with a cost of 200 along the coast. Of course, three-star hotels cost three to four hundred, and four-star sea view rooms cost one or two thousand. For family travel, it is more suitable to choose an apartment-style family hotel, which is even better if it comes with a kitchen. The standard for fisherman's accommodation is 50-100 per person (with air conditioning), but the safety and hygiene conditions are limited, especially the problem of hot water, and your morning and evening rest can easily be disturbed by other guests, so you should keep your eyes peeled when choosing. Just consider the price. (When you go to a fisherman’s house, be sure to remember to ask whether it’s “per person” or “per room.”) Even if a 150-dollar room in the old town is expensive, the conditions are not too bad, but it is too far from the seaside. The rent money will also be spent on transportation, plus the travel time, you decide whether it is worth it. Friends who travel by car have a wider range of choices, and it doesn’t matter if they are further away from the sea. Anyway, the urban area of ??Rizhao is not too big and the roads are wide. It only takes about 15 minutes to drive from west to east.
(2) Off-season (April, May, June, September, October): Double room or double room: 80-120 yuan/room. Some fishermen can even live there for a little money. It is important to note that before May Day and after National Day, many hotels along the coast, especially those in the Forest Park, are closed. It is best to confirm before coming.
When coming to Rizhao, the most important thing is to see the sea------Rizhao Seaside Scenic Area, starting from Lunan National Forest Park (the fourth bathing beach) in the north, in order: Renjiatai to Wangjiazao, etc. More than a dozen villages run bathing beaches and scenic spots, followed by the Third Beach (managed by Wangjiazao Village), Shanhaitian Bathing Beach (managed by Qiaojiadunzi Village Committee), Taigong Island Bathing Beach (managed by Beimiaojia Village), and Sunshine Coast (10 years Temporarily under the management of Dongjiatan), Wanpingkou Scenic Area (the Second Bathing Beach, directly under the Tourism Bureau), World Sailing Base (directly under the Sports Bureau), Lighthouse Scenic Area (directly under the Tourism Bureau), three or four days are enough.
If you come by car, there is a bus from Wanpingkou to the Forest Park (North Coastal Line), which costs 4 yuan/person (you can get a free ticket if you buy the Forest Park ticket on the bus), and there are intervals in peak seasons. 15 minutes. The entrance fee to Forest Park is 40 yuan/person. It is our best (fourth) bathing beach in sunshine. The beach is flat, the water quality is excellent, and the sand is very fine! It is a very good attraction in summer. Professor Ding Zhaozhong (an American physicist and Nobel Prize winner whose ancestral home is Rizhao Lanshan District) praised the beaches here as more beautiful than those in Hawaii. You can spend a whole day playing there in the summer. But going in the season when swimming is not allowed, I feel a little sorry for the ticket price, haha!
The third bathing beach is directly accessible by bus No. 8/10/16. The fare is 1 yuan/person and the bathing beach is free. The beach is relatively flat and there are many tourists in summer. My store is located in a nearby high-end resort community, and the aquarium in Rizhao is also here. The aquarium's reviews are not very good, and the better fish are said to have been given away by the managers to relevant leaders. The current aquarium can no longer operate, and it relies entirely on the rent of the stalls in the beach plaza it occupies. In the spring of 2010, the aquarium began comprehensive renovations. It is said that an international-level seaside plaza and underground underwater park will be built. The nearby Qiaojiadunzi and Wangjiazao are both prestigious fishing resorts.
Wanpingkou Scenic Area (Second Bathing Beach) is directly accessible by buses and buses such as No. 5, 6, and 8. The fare is 1 yuan/person. The bathing beach is free. The sand is thicker and the beach is smaller. It is steep, but it is close to the city and the port, and has the most complete facilities on land. It is known as the "big living room of the people of Rizhao". However, in the past two years, many vulgar amusement facilities have been added. I personally think it damages the overall appearance of the second bath. Landscape, many tourist friends also feel the same way. Because there are many rocks and big waves here, accidents happen every year, so it is said that swimming in the sea will no longer be allowed here in the future.
There is a tidal tower in Wanpingkou Scenic Area, which can display tidal changes, which is very interesting. There is a so-called naval battle hall inside the tower. It is a fabricated attraction and is really lackluster (the ticket costs 35, a rip off!). But when you climb the tower and look far away, you will see the sea and the sky are the same color, and you will be open-minded and enjoy the joy of life!
The Water Games Base in the northwest of Wanpingkou was rebuilt on the basis of the original 10,000-acre lagoon. The scale and landscape are unparalleled in China. In 2009, it hosted the water sports of the National Games. It is absolutely not to be missed. There are no tickets, but foreign vehicles need to pay a parking fee of 10 yuan. The west gate of the water transportation base is the famous Sun City Musical Fountain Square, which is worth a visit! Tickets are 10 yuan in peak season and free in off-season.
The lighthouse scenic area south of Wanpingkou has a novel design and the night view is particularly brilliant. It can be called a Rizhao landmark! However, the blue floor lamps that have been in disrepair and the hotel buildings that have not yet been built make it look inferior. (No tickets)
Sunshine Coast (formerly Golden Beach Bathing Beach) to the north of Wanpingkou was renovated and opened to guests in 2010. The scenery there is really great, especially the night view, with the whirling fairy music, the hazy shadow of the moon, and the romance between heaven and earth. I highly recommend it here! The scenery of Wanpingkou at night is beautiful! On the Haiqu East Road cross-sea bridge, you can have a panoramic view of the World Sailing and Windsurfing Competition Base, Water Transport Base, and Lighthouse Scenic Area, with gorgeous colors! It is worth strongly recommending! No tickets, free, but you can't park for a long time, you can only pass at a low speed and take a look!
The Zhudongtian (Jiangshuaigou) scenic spot has been doing well in recent years. It is not far from the old urban area and can be reached directly by bus No. 15. The ticket is not expensive at 30 yuan. It is said that the price will increase this year. Tourists who have been in Rizhao for more than three days can go there to experience the largest bamboo sea in Jiangbei!
Try not to eat barbecue at individual stalls on the beach. If you are afraid of getting ripped off, eating 3 kilometers west of the beach is generally not a big problem. Restaurants in university towns are affordable, but fewer are open during the peak summer season.
