Tai Shi Ci was a famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
Tai Shi Ci made his debut in Romance of the Three Kingdoms in the 11th chapter of the book, "Liu Huangshu saves Kong Rong in the North Sea, and Lu Wenhou breaks Cao Cao in Puyang", and his later performance was not much different from that in the Three Kingdoms Chronicle, but his time of death was adjusted backward by a few years. In the Battle of Red Cliff, Tai Shi Ci was responsible for going around the back of Cao's army to cut off reinforcements from Hefei. Later on, Tai Shi Ci fought against the Wei general Zhang Liao in the Battle of Hefei, but his plan of "inside and outside" was broken by Zhang Liao, who even arranged ambushes and attacked Tai Shi Ci when he entered Hefei, causing him to be shot by several arrows and died of his wounds after returning to the camp.
