Henan Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College was founded in 2003, its predecessor is Henan University Minsheng College. 2009, Henan Daily Newspaper Group and Henan University strong combination, *** with the organization of the Minsheng College. 2021, February, approved by the Ministry of Education, the school was transferred to change the name of Henan Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College.
Nearly twenty years after the establishment of the school, the school has trained more than 47,000 outstanding graduates for the country and society. The school is ranked eighth in China and first in Henan Province in the "2021 Ranking of China's Private Colleges and Universities" by Softech.
