The School of Software of Shandong University is the first batch of national demonstrative software colleges, which began to recruit undergraduates in the direction of software engineering in 2001, was granted the right to grant professional master's degree in the field of software engineering in 2002, set up a doctoral degree authorization point for the first-level discipline of software engineering in 2011, and set up a post-doctoral mobile station for software engineering in 2012.
