As of July 2019, there are 7 airports in Shanxi, namely Taiyuan Wuju International Airport, Yuncheng Guanguang Airport, Changzhi Wangcun Airport, Datong Yungang Airport, Lvliang Dawu Airport, Linfen Qiao Li Airport, and Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport. Specifically introduced as follows:

1, Taiyuan Wuxu International Airport

Taiyuan Wuxu International Airport, referred to as "Taiyuan Airport", is located in Xiaodian District, Taiyuan City, 9 kilometers away from the South Central Ring Road in Taiyuan City, only 4.6 kilometers away from the Taiyuan South Railway Station, a 4E civil airport, is a regional hub airport, a member of the North China Airport Group. Taiyuan Wuxu International Airport has two terminals (Terminal 1 with an area of 25,800 square meters and Terminal 2 with an area of 55,000 square meters), one runway, and 43 aircraft slots.

2. Yuncheng Guan Gong Airport

Yuncheng Guan Gong Airport, also known as Yuncheng Zhangxiao Airport, is located in Zhangxiao Village, Taocun Township, 11 kilometers northeast of Yancheng City's Yanhu District. Yuncheng Guan Gong Airport was completed on February 7, 2005 and opened to the public. The runway is 3,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and the flight area is classified as 4D, which can take off and land B767-300 aircraft of the same class and the following series. The apron area is more than 60,000 square meters, and there are 6 corridor bridges, which can park 10 aircrafts at the same time.

3, Changzhi Civil Aviation Airport

Changzhi Civil Aviation Airport was founded in 1958, located in the northern part of Luzu District, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, in 2003 the airport was localized and renamed as Changzhi Airport Branch of Shanxi Civil Aviation Airport Group Company, and in June 2014, Changzhi Airport Limited Liability Company was registered.

4, Datong Yungang Airport

Datong Yungang Airport, formerly known as Datong Beijiazhuang Airport, was renamed Datong Yungang Airport on July 27, 2012 with the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The airport is located in the north of Beijazao Town, Yunzhou District, Datong City, Shanxi Province, 15.2 kilometers away from the center of Datong City.

5. Lvliang Dawu Airport

Lvliang Dawu Airport is a regional airport located in the northwest of Dawu Town, Fangshan County, Shanxi Province (on a loess beam near the lost village of Muguta, Dawu Town), about 20.5 kilometers from the downtown area of Lvliang City, and 9 kilometers from the edge of the city planning.

Lvliang Dawu Airport officially began construction in February 2009, with a total investment of 764 million yuan. at 9:25 a.m. on January 26, 2014, the airport was officially opened. It is the fifth civil aviation airport in Shanxi province after Taiyuan, Changzhi, Yuncheng and Datong.

6, Linfen Qiao Li Airport

Linfen Qiao Li Airport, referred to as "Linfen Airport", 8 gates, 9 seats, including 6 corridor bridge seats. It was built in March 1959 and is located in the north of Qiao Li Village, Yao Du District, Linfen City, 15 kilometers away from the center of the city, covering a total area of 2086 acres.

7, Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport

Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport is a civilian and military airport, 71 kilometers from the core scenic area of Wutaishan. Located in Dingxiang County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, Hongdao Town, fearless Zhuang Village, is the expansion of military airports from the military-civilian joint-use of regional airports.
