The campus of Tsinghua University is basically a whole, rectangular in shape, 2.5 kilometers long from north to south and 2 kilometers wide from east to west, and is located in the Haidian District of Beijing, between the North Fourth Ring Road and the North Fifth Ring Road, with Subway Line 13 in the east, and Peking University and the Yuanmingyuan Garden in the west. In addition, the building's Guanghua Road Campus, Nuclear Research Institute (Changping, Beijing), Shenzhen Graduate School, Affiliated Hospital, and a small number of sanatoriums and faculty residences are located outside the main campus.
In addition to the main campus in Yanyuan, Peking University now has a medical campus, Changping Campus, Shenzhen Campus, Daxing Campus, Yuanmingyuan Campus, *** counting six campuses. The Ministry of Medicine Campus was originally the campus of Beijing Medical University (BMU). In October 1912, Tsinghua Academy was renamed Tsinghua College under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Beijing government, with an area of more than 450 acres. 1937, the school's area was increased to 1,600 acres, with a total construction area of 100,000 square meters.
