Part 2 General Terms

1. Completion of the project

1.1 The contractor must complete the project in accordance with the completion date stipulated in the agreement or the extension agreed by the engineer.

1.2 If the contractor is unable to complete the project on the completion date specified in the agreement or the extended period agreed by the engineer due to the contractor's reasons, the contractor shall bear liability for breach of contract.

1.3 If the contractor needs to complete the project ahead of schedule during construction, both parties should sign an ahead-of-date completion agreement as part of the contract document after reaching consensus. The agreement on early completion should include the measures taken by the contractor to ensure the quality and safety of the project, the conditions provided by the employer for early completion, and the additional contract price required for early completion.

2. Project quality

The project quality should meet the quality standards stipulated in the agreement, and the assessment of quality standards is based on national or industry quality inspection and assessment standards.

3. Payment of project money (progress money)

The contractor failed to pay the project money (progress money) as stipulated in the contract, and the two parties did not reach an agreement on deferred payment, resulting in the inability to proceed with the construction. The contractor may stop construction, and the contractor shall be liable for breach of contract.

4. Completion settlement

If the contractor does not pay the project completion settlement price within 3 days after receiving the completion settlement report, the contractor will pay the bank loan interest rate for the same period in arrears from the 29th day Interest on the project price and liability for breach of contract, and the project will not be guaranteed.
