The Xiaolangdi Water Control Project, called "the most challenging project in the world" by experts at home and abroad, is a key control project for harnessing the Yellow River and the largest loan project of the World Bank in China. During the construction of 1 1 year, the project has withstood severe tests in all aspects, overcome many unexpected risk factors and saved a rare investment of 3.8 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 1 1% of the total investment. On February 5, 65438, the Xiaolangdi Water Control Project of the Yellow River passed the preliminary acceptance of the project organized by the Ministry of Water Resources. Experts suggest that the construction quality of this project should be assessed as excellent.
It is not surprising that large-scale projects built during the deflation period have savings due to price factors. But of Xiaolangdi's 3.8 billion yuan savings, 2.73 billion yuan comes from management. According to expert analysis, this is mainly due to Xiaolangdi's adherence to the advanced construction mechanism. Xiaolangdi is the largest project implemented in China in full accordance with the management mode of "three systems" (owner responsibility system, bidding responsibility system and construction supervision system). Taking contract management as the core, it is in line with international management mode in all aspects and is at the forefront of large-scale hydropower projects in China.
