During the period of active service, conscripts who have been awarded a second-class merit or above in peacetime and a third-class merit or above in wartime, who are children of martyrs and disabled due to war, are discharged from active service and arranged by the local people's government at or above the county level; During the period of work to be arranged, the local people's government will issue living allowances in accordance with relevant state regulations; If I voluntarily choose to start my own business, it shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 4 of this article.

The state adjusts retirement pension standards in a timely manner according to the level of economic and social development. The funds needed for the resettlement of retired soldiers shall be shared by the central and local people's governments at all levels.
