There are two possibilities for you to have a loan in your name without knowing it: 1 is a government loan. 2 is a fake loan.
1, government loan. The government supports farmers' production and operation, but it doesn't have that much money, so it will come to credit cooperatives for loans in the name of farmers, usually in batches. For example, 1997, our government promoted tobacco cultivation to farmers. If a farmer planted tobacco, the government went to the credit union for a loan of 1 000 yuan in the name of that farmer, but the money was not directly distributed to the farmers. Instead, we pooled the loans 1 1,000 yuan from all the tobacco farmers in the village and built a flue-cured tobacco room in the village. After farmers plant tobacco leaves, they can take them to the flue-cured tobacco room for baking.
Because the government didn't do a good job, many farmers thought it was free to go to the flue-cured tobacco room, and they all thought it was set up by the government. Who knows that the flue-cured tobacco house was built at their own expense, and the government just stepped in to help with the loan. At the beginning, although every family signed a contract with the government, farmers generally didn't know what they signed or what loans they signed. If it is such a loan, ask the government and village cadres, and it will be clear. If it is a government loan like this, it must be repaid.
2. False name loan. That is, your ID card may have been stolen or lost by others. There is a 98% chance that your relatives and friends in the same village did it. They took your ID card to the credit union for a loan. In the past, the loan review of credit cooperatives was not so strict. As long as you have an ID card and look like it, you can get a loan. Not now. Now everyone is going to the village to investigate and collect your fingerprints. Only when the fingerprint is right can the loan be made, so it is almost impossible to falsify the loan now. If you have a fake loan, it must have been years ago or more. Ask the loan officer to look through the loan file and learn more about it. If the signature and handprint are really not what you want, you can explain the situation to the director of the credit union. There is no need to repay such a loan. The director of the credit union will find out what happened in that year, who faked your name to get the loan, and the credit union will find someone who wanted it in that year to pay it back.
So in either case, you need to go to the credit union to find the director. Explain and understand the situation.
