Second, in the compulsory education stage, the main subsidies are two exemptions and one subsidy and nutritious meal plan. Third, the high school stage mainly refers to children from registered poor households who are exempted from tuition and accommodation fees and can enjoy an annual scholarship of 2,000 yuan. Fourth, at the secondary vocational education stage, tuition is free during schooling, and students in grades 1 to 2 can enjoy an annual stipend of 2,000 yuan. Fifth, at the higher education stage, children of registered households and children of low-income households can enjoy the national scholarship program for undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students, which are 4,000 yuan, 6,000 yuan, and 12,000 yuan respectively. The student loan for the student's place of origin is 8,000 yuan per year for undergraduate students and 12,000 yuan per year for graduate students.

The minimum living security benefits for urban residents shall be initially reviewed by the sub-district office or town people's government where they are located, and relevant materials and preliminary review opinions shall be submitted to the civil affairs department of the county-level people's government for approval.
To meet the needs of approving the minimum living security benefits for urban residents, the management and approval authorities can investigate and verify the applicant’s family economic status and actual living standards through household surveys, neighborhood visits, and letter requests. Applicants and relevant units, organizations or individuals shall accept investigation and truthfully provide relevant information.
