Dongguan University of Technology is the first ordinary undergraduate college in Dongguan, which is built by provinces and cities, mainly by cities, and Dr. Yang Zhenning, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, is the honorary president.

The school has two campuses, Songshan Lake and Guancheng, among which Songshan Lake Campus is located atNo. Daxue Road 1 in Songshan Lake High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of 1800 mu (including 370 mu of international cooperation and innovation zone). Guancheng Campus is located at No.251Xueyuan Road, Guancheng District, covering an area of more than 330 mu.

There are more than 790 faculty members 180, including those with full senior titles180, 387 with associate senior titles and 797 doctors. There are more than 20,000 ordinary full-time students and nearly 20,000 continuing education students. So far, about120,000 local talents have been trained, and about 80% of graduates have stayed in Dongguan to find jobs and start businesses.
