1. Eligibility for tax refund shopping: permanent residence in countries other than Switzerland, Liechtenstein or Samnauen, and 18 years old or above;
2. Shops that can get tax rebates basically need to buy more than 300 Swiss francs (Switzerland has not yet joined the euro zone);
3. China tourists can enjoy the VAT rate of 8%;
4. Goods subject to tax refund: only goods that can be taken out of the country in person (passengers' personal luggage) can be refunded;

6. When shopping, look for the Global Blue Union duty-free shopping sign on the shop window. When paying, please ask the staff for your tax refund form. Global Blue Alliance has two tax refund forms (blue or white). Please fill in the required information in capital letters on the tax refund form, and be sure to remember that an incomplete tax refund form = no tax refund;

Although Switzerland has joined the Schengen visa, it has not joined the European Union Unified Customs Area, so the inspection of entry and exit articles and related tax inspections will continue. Before leaving Switzerland by plane, car or train, tourists still need to go through the formalities of tax refund at the customs.
8. There are two ways to refund the tax: direct cash refund and remittance to your credit card or bank account. There are cash refund counters at Zurich and Geneva airports. At Geneva Airport, American Express, a financial institution, provides cash refund service, and guests can choose the currency. However, the company only accepts the tax refund form of the global tax and fee fund. Therefore, passengers who want to return cash at the airport should ask the store whether they can provide the company's tax refund form before shopping. Usually, there are signs similar to tax refund on the doors and windows of shops. When you apply for tax refund at the airport, you only need to show your passport and the tax refund form stamped with the customs seal.
9. Passengers who can't refund cash need to indicate your bank name, bank account number and address on the tax refund form, write down the card number if you have a credit card, and then put it in the envelope given by the store to the tax refund company, and you don't need to put stamps on it. Just put it in the mailbox and send it directly.
